FleetEV's 795% growth puts Welsh business on the national map

4 November 2026

Cardiff-based FleetEV is taking its fast-growing fleet electrification business beyond Wales, after recording 795% growth and securing a place among the UK's fastest-growing companies in the 2026 UK Fast Growth Index.

The business, which specialises in helping public sector organisations and commercial fleets make the transition to electric vehicles, recorded growth of 794.9% between 2023 and 2025, making it the second fastest-growing business in Wales and 17th fastest-growing in the UK.

It was also named the number one green business in Wales and ranked among the top three green businesses nationally.

The recognition reflects FleetEV's rapid development from a Welsh specialist into an increasingly significant player in the UK's fleet electrification market. The company now works with 21 of Wales's 22 local authorities, alongside utilities, national organisations and private sector businesses.

Founded in Cardiff, FleetEV has built its business without external investment, focusing on providing organisations with practical support to move away from petrol and diesel vehicles.

The company’s ambitions extend well beyond supplying electric vehicles. The business is developing a more comprehensive approach to fleet electrification, combining vehicle supply with data-led EV readiness assessments, charging infrastructure and energy solutions through sister company PLUG Charging.

Jarrad Morris, CEO and founder of FleetEV, said: "To achieve almost 795% growth in two years is a fantastic milestone for the business, but what matters most to us is what sits behind those figures.

"We've built FleetEV by helping organisations solve a very real challenge. Moving a fleet to electric isn't simply about replacing one vehicle with another. It's about understanding how vehicles are used, which ones are suitable for electrification, what charging infrastructure is needed and how the whole thing works in practice.

"Working with 21 of Wales's 22 local authorities is something we're incredibly proud of. It demonstrates the trust organisations have placed in us and the experience we've gained from delivering solutions across a wide range of operational requirements.”

With a strong foothold in Wales, FleetEV is now looking to build its presence across the wider UK market, taking its specialist approach to organisations seeking to electrify their fleets.

The company believes that its experience of working with local authorities and other complex fleet operators gives it a strong foundation for this next stage of growth, particularly as businesses increasingly look for joined-up solutions rather than individual vehicle or charging suppliers.

Jarrad said: "We've proven that there is a real appetite for a specialist approach to fleet electrification, and we believe the opportunity extends well beyond Wales.

"Our next phase is about scaling what we've built, continuing to invest in the technology and expertise that make electrification simpler for customers, and taking that experience to more organisations across the UK.

"We're proud to be a Welsh business, and we want to demonstrate that companies based here can compete and lead in some of the UK's fastest-growing sectors."

FleetEV focuses on making the switch to EVs practical and efficient through comprehensive leasing, salary sacrifice, and fleet solutions tailored to diverse client needs, across public and private sectors.
