Modern slavery statement

We’re committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains. This statement affirms our intention to act ethically in all our business relationships.

Our Responsibility

At FleetEV Limited, we are dedicated to ensuring that our employees are not subject to behaviour or threats that may amount to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, or similar human rights abuses. We’re also committed to ensuring our approach to tackling modern slavery in our own business and throughout our supply chains is consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Everyone at FleetEV Limited has a duty to be alert to risks, however small, and there is an expectation for each team member to report any concerns, with management taking appropriate action.

What Do We Do?

Our primary business activity involves providing electric vehicle (EV) solutions for commercial fleets. We work with a network of vehicle manufacturers and technology companies to deliver innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.

How Do We Manage Risk?

To assess and manage the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking, we:

  • Regularly review our existing supply chains for potential risks, including auditing and carrying out spot-checks.

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas when considering new suppliers.

  • Protect whistle-blowers to ensure they can report concerns without fear of repercussions.

  • Remain vigilant and proactive, even though we have not identified any risks of modern slavery in our supply chain to date.

Who Is Responsible for Our Anti-Slavery Initiatives?

Policies: Our Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for creating and reviewing policies. These are developed by reviewing legislation, examining best practices, and adapting to the needs of the company. The Board of Directors at FleetEV Limited reviews our policies annually or as needed.

Risk Assessments: Our Chief Operating Officer is responsible for conducting risk assessments related to human rights and modern slavery, including reviewing staff recruitment and salaries, and evaluating our suppliers.

Due Diligence: Our Chief Executive Officer is responsible for due diligence in relation to known or suspected instances of modern slavery and human trafficking.

What Training Do We Provide?

At FleetEV Limited, it’s important that our employees have a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. We have a comprehensive training programme for new starters and ongoing training for existing team members.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

We conduct due diligence when considering new suppliers and regularly review existing suppliers. Our due diligence process includes:

  • Building long-standing relationships with suppliers and clearly communicating our expectations.

  • Evaluating the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking with each new supplier.

  • Invoking sanctions against suppliers that fail to improve their performance in line with our action plan, including the termination of business relationships if necessary.

Performance Indicators

We use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure our effectiveness in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking are not present in any part of our business or supply chains.
